Senior technical leader, with a 20+ years industry and academic experience and the goal and passion to mix design strategy with agile user experience (UX) research and innovation to enrich people’s everyday life and humanize technology.
My current focus is Artificial Intelligence (AI), with an emphasis on smart spaces, sensor technology and aging in place. Prior to Intel, I worked as architect in Italy and Senior Research Fellow at RMIT University in Australia.
I am committee member and reviewer for several international journals, institutes and conferences and conducted research and presented in 6 continents. In 2018 I was recognized as one of Italy's 50 most inspiring women in tech (InspiringFifty initiative).

Hello there. I am a participatory design leader and passionate, creative human.
I gravitated between art and design for decades and throughout my career I experimented with arts-based research in technology contexts. My PhD was art-based.
In 2023 I put my high tech career behind and opened imperfecta, an art gallery focused on women artists and minority creatives. I now spend all my time elevating talented artists while engaging with my art practice. I am literally in heaven.
Mixing design strategy with experience research & innovation to enrich people’s life & humanize technology is what got me very excited and loved doing. I now am happy to help companies that I believe can make a difference to achieve that, yet I have no interest in going back to my tech life.
For those interested in my high tech career... I am versed applying human-centered, technical & design acumen to diverse contexts & experienced deploying innovation to dream, design & develop novel products & services. I have broad strategic & operational expertise in planning, project, & innovation management & in navigating highly ambiguous contexts to deliver results.
As a leader, manager and mentor, I am collaborative, curious, empowering, with a focus on influencing, nurturing, growing through participation, actionable insights, and human-centered strategy. I am proud and blessed to inspire, energize, support, grow teams and individuals daily.
In 2018 I was recognized as one of Italy's 50 most inspiring women in tech & received Intel’s Global Diversity & Inclusion Award.

Innovation: Designed novel processes to drive innovation & strategy and 10 best practices for AI developers; Re-imagined the future of TV, leading to design wins.
